While Louis tugs at the thread...
While we wait for our son, John is working hard on the house--but that is nothing unusual for him. This week he has started hanging things on his beautifully painted hallway walls. We are saving space for photos of Louis, of course.
Meanwhile, since I can't do more work on the scrapbook for Louis until we bring him home, I am creating a scrapbook of our shower. We have so many thoughtful cards and messages from our friends and family who came to the shower, so I am compiling them with photos and other mementos of that wonderful day! My sister-in-law Katie had said I should take up knitting, but my knitting has been a complete failure. So this seems to be a new way of occupying myself (along with work, of course) until our son comes home. We are just waiting for Travel Approval and our consulate appointment and then we can be on our way!

I didn't know that Katie told you to take up knitting. I heartily concur. Knitting is awesome. :)

Yes, knitting is awesome. So is juggling balls of fire, but I am not any good at that either.
