Curtain Quest
For months I have been hunting for a curtain for Lou's bedroom. Either I am extremely picky about children's curtains or there's not much selection (or both). His Aunt Treasa had offered to make some for him, and we bought some vehicle-themed sheets so she could get to work. She hadn't had a chance to start figuring out the sewing machine yet when we went shopping this weekend and found this fabric vehicle-themed shower curtain for a mere $5.99. A few stitches by Grandma Beyer, and they were ready to hang! Now Treasa is off the hook--pun intended, of course.
These photos also reveal that we still need to do some organizing of the bedroom for Louis, but it is more complete all the time. On the back of the rocking chair is the lovely afghan our friend Deanna thoughtfully made for Louis. Now we just need our little boy!
