Not-so-new photo of Louis
When we opened the original file on Jan. 4, we were using our old computer and dial-up Internet access. John and I sat in front of the computer for an endless amount of time (maybe 20 minutes) waiting for the enormous PDF to open, showing us our son's picture for the first time. As it turns out, our computer was so ancient that it couldn't even open this image of Louis--though there was a smaller black and white version of it on the second page of the document. That little black-and-white photo has been John's favorite, but I had had no luck getting a print made because the resolution was so poor.
Today, however, I was able to drop it into Photoshop and get 16 half-wallet-sized versions of it from Ritz. John was thrilled! We keep looking at the photo over and over and over and over again. I can't help but wonder if Louis will look at us that way when we meet him--definitely uncertain and a little scared.
These photos are as close as we can get to our little boy for now--but we hope to have more to share soon, taken on our camera!
He is SOOO cute! Great pic!
