Waiting for Travel Approval

Yesterday we received notification that our file had been forwarded to the U.S. consulate in Guanzhou. I'd like to say we were happy to get that notice, and we were, but we didn't really know we were waiting for it, so we aren't sure how to interpret it. :)

On the spur of the moment, I bought a new rug earlier this week, and it looks wonderful! It will be fun to show Louis how he traveled on his first (probably second, actually, since we'll fly together in China) flight.

We are terribly impatient and we are starting to pack. We can't wait to hold Louis in our arms!
