The Travel Approval Wait

Our agency checked in today to let us know that our Travel Approval is sitting on a desk in China waiting for the director there to return to the office. It can't be mailed to the U.S. until then, so apparently we won't see our Travel Approval until later next week at the soonest.

And so we continue to wait! The good news is that our dining room is getting painted (by John and his sister, Rene') this weekend, and we may even have time for a weekend at the beach before we head to China. We'd rather fly to Beijing tomorrow, but if we have to wait, we'll fill our days!
