Happy Birthday to John!

This morning, as we were getting ready to go to church, John's brother stopped by with two of Louis' cousins, Max and Molly. They had just bought some baked goods at church and delivered a cupcake for John's birthday celebration. Here they are, standing in our doorway, with the cupcake: yellow cake with chocolate icing, Uncle John's favorite.

Today also marks nine months since receiving our referral and falling in love with the photos of our little boy so many miles away! Maybe that explains why we are feeling a little less patient these days. But we know we are in the homestretch. Soon we'll know Lou's favorite cupcake too!
