John and I enjoyed a fun weekend at the beach, a welcome break in the waiting for our little boy. We are looking forward to our next trip to the beach with Louis in the not-too-distant future.
We had hoped our Travel Approval would arrive at our agency on Friday, but it didn't. The expected batch of approvals arrived, but ours was not among them. There isn't any particular explanation for this. It's just how things happened to happen. Our agency checked on ours and they were told it is "in process," so we hope it arrives soon. I asked whether that meant a couple more weeks, and I was told "probably not that long." So I'm thinking that any guess I throw out there will be about as accurate as my guesses as to when our next niece and nephew will be born.
It certainly wasn't a lost weekend. After all, John won a lovely bendable plastic snake just the right size to pack for a trip to China.
